Dashboard relationships

Relationships between dashboards and resources control what you see in your home page. A dashboard-resource relationship makes a resource appear when that dashboard is current, provided you have access to both. It does not grant resource administration or command access.

To create a relationship between a dashboard and a resource:

  1. Make sure you have a usage relationship with both the dashboard and the resource that you want to connect.
  2. Go to the dashboard page on Realer.
  3. From the dashboard page, click on under the dashboard name and select Edit usage relationship.
  4. From within the edit usage relationship box, search for the resource that you want to relate to the dashboard and click relate.
  5. Choose the privacy setting for the relationship between the dashboard and the resource.
  6. Click Create relationship.

Connect only resources that are useful on that dashboard. There are limitations on the number of dashboard relationships you can create. Connecting these items does not grant command access. A resource admin can share sensor readings or commands separately.
